- American: +125 — meaning ৳125 profit on a ৳100 stake

Example 2 — odds for the favourite
Team B is the favourite, so the odds are lower. On a ৳1,000 bet:
- Decimal: 1.50
- Fractional: 1/2
- American: -200 (minus means you must stake ৳200 to win ৳100 in profit)
If Team B wins: total return ৳1,500 (profit ৳500 + stake ৳1,000). Lower odds for the favourite means lower profit.
In a multi bet the odds are multiplied together. If three bets have odds of 1.40, 1.70 and 1.90, the combined odds are 1.40 × 1.70 × 1.90 = approximately 4.52, so a ৳100 bet returns ৳452 if all win.
